Triggers

My girlfriend and I want to get married, but the problem is that I reside in a cold place where the temperature drops to 6-7 °C in winter season for about two months and she has sickle cell disease (Hb S).

My query is won't the cold weather conditions be a problem for her?  I don't want to risk her life for our love life.

People with sickle cell disease live in cold climates in the United States in the North East, Colorado (Denver has an elevation of one mile and it is cold in the winter), New York, etc.  You have to take care of yourself in cold weather, it not the best place to live if you have sickle cell disease; but many people do live in cold climates.  My advice: if you are young and plan on being together forever find a place that is a little warmer where you can both work and live together happily ever after.  Really.  It is doable, but not optimal.
